The frigid waters and strong currents of Scotland produce salmon that are both strong and high in fat-content which is why Scottish Salmon is one of the more mild flavored and prized varieties of salmon on the market. We receive our Scottish Salmon fresh, every week directly from Scotland, pre-portion our scottish salmon fillets, and flash freeze them to preserve their freshness for your kitchen. We recommend serving these scottish salmon fillets as sushi, sashimi or even as tataki salmon but it also turns out great when lightly cooked in the oven.
Product Weight: 0.7 - 1.5 lbs per piece
Storage: Keep Frozen prior to use.
Overnight Thawing Instructions: Carefully puncture vacuum pack. Be sure to puncture in a couple of places in the pack so that it thaws evenly. Next, place fillet on a plate to thaw for 8-10 hours. This slow thawing process maintains the quality and the texture of the fish. Do not refreeze.
